Monday (12/08):
Comstock Township Parks and Recreation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Parks and Rec Commission will discuss park concessions, commissioner duties, and give a report on the prescribed burn conducted at Robert Morris Park.
Kalamazoo Township Board of Trustees (7:30 PM, PMN4): The Township Board will vote on a Resolution instating Trustee pay at a flat rate of $8,000 beginning on January 1.
Tuesday (12/09):
City of Kalamazoo Citizen’s Public Safety Review and Appeals Board (6:00 PM, PMN4): The CPSRAB provides an opportunity for the Citizens of Kalamazoo to look deeper into our city’s Department of Public Safety. CPSRAB also hears community complaints that are appealed after they have been investigated by the Office of Professional Standards. The Board also serves in an advisory role to improve public safety service and policies, and works to build community trust, credibility and confidence.
Oshtemo Township Board of Trustees (5:30 PM, PMN3): The Township Board will hear a presentation on the Township’s 2045 Comprehensive Master Plan. The Board will also discuss and review Step 3 of the West Ridge Site Condominium, which moves to grant final plan approval subject to the conditions provided by the Township. Wednesday (12/10):
City of Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN4): The Historic Preservation Commission will review funding reports, community engagement, and hear a presentation on the strategic vision of Imagine Kalamazoo 2035.
Thursday (12/11):
City of Kalamazoo Utility Policy Committee (8:30 AM, PMN4): Meeting materials for the Utility Policy Committee are made available here.
Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): Oshtemo’s Planning Commission will set meeting dates for 2026, potentially shifting the meeting schedule to center around Wednesdays, rather than Thursdays.
Comstock Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN2): Comstock’s Planning Commission will review the Conditional Rezoning Request at 6787 E H Ave. and review additional information from the Property Owner.
City of Kalamazoo Zoning Board of Appeals (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Zoning Board will review a dimensional variance request at 130 Portage St, where the City of Kalamazoo hopes to put in a 2.5-foot picket fence around the ground-mounted mechanical units where a solid fence tall enough to screen the mechanical units is required. Also, dimensional variances at two properties (124 Martin St. and 102 Martin St.) under the same owner, to allow new single-family homes to be set back 20 feet from the front property line, rather than the required 25.
