Monday (06/08)
Comstock Township Parks and Recreation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Parks and Rec Commission will be provided a Prescribed Burn Report by the Township Ordinance Officer, and then will receive a presentation from Prein & Newhof on the Merrill Park Rivers Edge project. The Board will take action on a selection from recent seeding quotes for Neal St. Park and discuss adding boulders to the landscaping at the park.
Kalamazoo Township Board of Trustees (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo Township Board will hold a Public Hearing on a Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption request from Kalsec, for a 12-year period for building, machinery and improvements in the amount of $20,000,000. The Tax Exemption request comes from Kalsec planning the construction of a new 650 square foot extraction expansion building to its facility.
Tuesday (06/09)
Oshtemo Township Board of Trustees (5:30 PM, PMN3): The Oshtemo Township Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday to discuss a variety of agenda items, including acceptance of 2025 Oshtemo Township Financial
Statements, Fire Department Vehicle Replacement, a first reading of Ordinance 692 (Parkview Avenue Rezoning Request), and more. The Board will enter a closed session toward the end of their meeting for litigation regarding Oshtemo Charter Township v Young.
Wednesday (06/10)
City of Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN4): Kalamazoo’s Historic Preservation Commission will review several internal reports, as well as discuss a mini grant request from Friends of Kalamazoo Historic Cemeteries utilizing the O’Connor Fund to continue gravestone preservation efforts in local historic cemeteries.

Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): The June 11, 2026 Oshtemo Charter Township Planning Commission meeting has been canceled.

City of Kalamazoo Zoning Board of Appeals (7:00 PM, PMN4): The June 11, 2026 City of Kalamazoo Zoning Board of Appeals meeting has been canceled.
Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education (7:00 PM, PMN5): The Kalamazoo Public Schools Board meets for their penultimate meeting of the Spring 2026 Semester, with continued recaps of achievements and statistics regarding KPS students and administration.
