El Concilio’s Resource Office helps community members navigate mail, online applications, and other everyday systems that can be difficult to access alone.
Irving Quintero, Chief Operating Officer at El Concilio, says the Resource Office assists with practical, small-scale needs — things like reviewing mail or completing online applications — and guides people through more complex systems depending on individual circumstances. The office also connects community members to trusted partner organizations for additional support.
Beyond direct assistance, the Resource Office serves as an entry point to El Concilio’s other programs, including business development support, preschool and after-school programming, and mental health services.
Staff are bilingual, offering support in both Spanish and English, and the office serves community members throughout Kalamazoo and the surrounding area.
