As we enter another busy week of Local Government Meetings, take a look at some key items on the agendas.
Monday (02/10):
Kalamazoo Township Work Session (6:00 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo Township work session has been canceled and adjourned to the 7:00 p.m. Board Meeting.
Kalamazoo Township Board of Trustees (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Township Board is set to vote on an approval of the re-structure and working template of the Kalamazoo Township Climate Committee, as well as adopting a resolution and the procedures to appoint ADA Coordinator and it’s requirements.
Comstock Township Parks and Recreation (6:00 PM, PMN3): A new addition to the PMN Gavel to Gavel line-up, the Comstock Parks & Recreation Commission will continue work on a Contracting bid for a park project on Neal Ave., continue coordinating the 2026 Memorial Day Parade, and clarifying Board Goals.
Tuesday (02/11):
Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (3:00 PM, PMN2): When available, Road Commission agendas can be found here.
Oshtemo Township Board of Trustees (5:30 PM, PMN3): Oshtemo’s Township Board is scheduled to discuss second readings of zoning ordinance amendments, second reading of a False Violation Report ordinance, a Consumer’s Energy Easement, and more.
City of Kalamazoo Citizens Public Safety Review and Appeals Board (6:00 PM, PMN4): Meeting details are posted in advance of each meeting and linked here once available.
Wednesday (02/12):
City of Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN4): The Historic Preservation Commission will hear reports on funding, finances, and efforts establishing City Hall as a Local Historic District; and hold a discussion on encouraging community-wide engagement.
Thursday (02/13):
City of Kalamazoo Utility Policy Committee (8:30 PM, PMN4): When available, Utility Policy Committee agendas can be found here.
Comstock Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN2): Comstock’s Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing for the Renewable Energy – Zoning Ordinance moratorium, as well as continue work on Pan-handling and Soliciting regulations
Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): Oshtemo’s Planning Commission is conducting work on Text Amendments on Zoning Ordinances related to parking, energy systems, accessory dwelling units, and access management and private streets.
City of Kalamazoo Zoning Board of Appeals (7:00 PM, PMN4): Kalamazoo’s Zoning Board of Appeals is holding public hearings for variance requests from the Kalamazoo Country Club, Interstate Capital Development, the Ecumenical Center, and a property owner at 1114 Division street.
