Gavel to Gavel: Upcoming Local Government Meetings and Key Agenda Items – April 14 – 18

Monday (04/14):

Kalamazoo Township Board of Trustees (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Township Board will vote on approvals of an amended agreement with McKenna and Associates, re-establishing MERS contributions, and four police vehicles – three previously budgeted and one new replacement vehicle.

Comstock Township Parks & Recreation (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Comstock Parks & Recreation commission will meet and provide updates on park projects, continue discussions on the Wenke Softball Complex contract, ADA upgrades to Robert Morris Park, and further discussion on a request for a disc golf event in Comstock.

Tuesday (04/15):

Kalamazoo County Committee of the Whole (4:00 PM, PMN4): The County’s Committee of the Whole meets to provide a monthly investment report, discuss retirement pension details, and more.

Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners (6:30 PM, PMN4): The County Board will meet to discuss and vote on a large agenda, including appointments to the Environmental Health Advisory Council, Veterans Affairs Committee, and Kalamazoo County Local Emergency Planning Committee. City of Kalamazoo Historic District Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Historic District reviews three applications including a new construction at 430 Elm, demolition of five buildings at 107, 115, and 119 W Vine, and a replacement of windows at 807 W Vine.
