Monday (10/06)
Comstock Township Board of Trustees (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Comstock Township Board of Trustees meets Monday to continue work on the Weather Siren discussion, Homelessness and Panhandling Ordinance discussion, and discussion on a Draft Attorney Use Policy.
City of Kalamazoo Committee of the Whole (5:00 PM, PMN4): The Committee of the Whole will enter closed session to review and consider the contents of employment applications for City Manager candidates who have requested that their applications remain confidential.
Kalamazoo City Commission (7:00 PM, PMN4): The City Commission will vote to approve an array of Professional Service Agreements, Contracts, and Purchase Agreements. Then, a resolution to create the Porter St. NEZ and a purchase approval of 6086 E. Michigan Ave.
Tuesday (10/07)
Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (3:00 PM, PMN2): The Road Commission will request to rescind previous contracts and approve revised versions of the Brady Township and Pavilion Township Local Road Contracts.
Kalamazoo County Committee of the Whole (4:00 PM, PMN4): When available, the County Committee of the Whole meeting materials can be found here.
Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners (6:30 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo County Board will hold a Public Hearing in regards to the Proposed 2026 Budget for Kalamazoo County.
Wednesday (10/08)
Comstock Township Downtown Development Authority (5:30 PM, PMN2): Comstock’s DDA meets Wednesday for a rescheduled meeting, covering updates from Economic Development, Façade Improvement, Beautification/Maintenance, and 2025 Merrill Park Events including Boo Bash and Fall Fest.
City of Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN4): The Wednesday, October 8th Historic Preservation Commission Meeting has been canceled.
Thursday (10/09)
City of Kalamazoo Utility Policy Committee (8:30 AM, PMN4): When available, meeting materials for the Kalamazoo Utility Policy Committee can be found here.
City of Kalamazoo Zoning Board of Appeals (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo Zoning Board will consider use variance requests for 209 and 219 W. Cedar Street and a variety of variance requests for 411 W. Kalamazoo Avenue, mainly centered around the Event Center’s parking structure.
Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Oshtemo Township Planning Commission plans to view and discuss Michigan Association of Planning’s “Community Engagement for Housing: Changing Hearts and Minds” webinar.
Comstock Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN2): The Comstock Planning Commission will begin discussion on a 6454 E ML Rezoning Request, and continue discussion on Chicken and Accessory Structure ordinances.
