As we enter another week of local government meetings, take a look at what’s on the agenda.
Monday (11/18)
City of Kalamazoo Committee of the Whole (5:00 PM, PMN4): The Committee of the Whole will hold a Work Session and provide updates on Transportation Safety
Kalamazoo City Commission (7:00 PM, PMN4): The City Commission will review many items of proposed spending, proposed contracts for various services, and hold a first-reading of an ordinance to amend portions of the City Code to change the rates charged for drinking water in Kalamazoo.
Comstock Township Board (7:00 PM, PMN2): The Comstock Board will discuss ordinances and rezoning requests, water access, Planning Commission resignation and appointment, and more. A full agenda is available here.
Tuesday (11/19)
Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (3:00 PM, PMN2): The County Road Commissioners plan to request approval of the MDOT contract to rehabilitate certain structures in Brady Township.
Oshtemo Township Zoning Board of Appeals (3:30 PM, PMN3): Canceled due to lack of agenda items.
Kalamazoo County Committee of the Whole (5:00 PM, PMN4): The Committee of discussion on financial support for Owner-Occupied Repairs at Pavilion Estates following tornado damage sustained on May 7, 2024
Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners (7:00 PM, PMN4): The County Board is set to review a long list of funds acceptance and spending items. See the full agenda here.
City of Kalamazoo Historic District Commission (6:00 PM, PMN2): The Historic District Commission will hear applications for alterations to properties on Stuart Ave, McCourtie St, E Michigan Ave, and W Vine St. More details available here.
Wednesday (11/20)
City of Kalamazoo Environmental Concerns Committee (4:30 PM, PMN4): The ECC will meet to discuss certain “Imagine Kalamazoo 2035” contents as well as the ECC Bylaws for attendance, as it pertains to a member of the Committee that has been absent for multiple meetings. Positions on the ECC will also be discussed, as officers will be voted on in January 2025.

Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): Meeting Agendas are posted on the Oshtemo Township Website.
Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education (7:00 PM, PMN5): Meeting Agendas will be posted when available on the KPS Website.
