Find your voice, tell your stories, and effect positive change in Greater Kalamazoo.
This Media Arts Lab program is hands-on project-based training to guide you through the process of producing a 10-minute documentary video and organizing a screening and discussion on the topic to expand your impact.
Participants need to be available on Saturdays from 1 to 3 pm from February 17 to May 18 for mentoring, training, and hands-on work. An additional 10-12 hours a week may be required to complete your documentary and organize your screening. Screenings will take place between May 18 – June 18.
Limited space is available and prioritized for those who live in the City of Kalamazoo, City of Parchment, City of Galesburg, Comstock Township, Kalamazoo Township, or Oshtemo Township, and whose voices are underrepresented in corporate media.
