If you’ve ever thought, “I wish more people understood the impact of our work”—you’re not alone.
Nonprofits, community leaders, and grassroots organizers are doing incredible things every day. But getting those stories out into the world—especially in a way that moves people to care, share, or take action—can feel overwhelming. The good news? You don’t need a film crew or expensive gear to make it happen. You just need your smartphone and a few key tools.
That’s where our upcoming workshop comes in.
Storytelling with Smartphones is a hands-on, two-part training designed for nonprofits, movement builders, and anyone working to make a difference in the community. This workshop will help you capture meaningful stories and produce professional-looking videos with tools you already have.
Whether you’re trying to:
- Reach new supporters,
- Boost your next fundraising campaign,
- Or share a powerful moment from the field—
This workshop gives you the skills to make your story shine.
What You’ll Learn:
Session One (May 20):
We’ll walk through how to shape your story, define your audience, plan your shots, and understand what gear (if any) might help take things up a notch.
Session Two (May 22):
You’ll learn practical tips to make your videos look and sound great—from framing and lighting to simple editing hacks for social media and campaign use.
