The Screenwriters Club is where aspiring and experienced writers come together to craft powerful scripts, sharpen their storytelling skills, and dive deep into the art of screenwriting. This twice-monthly workshop blends hands-on writing exercises with structured lessons in film theory, screenplay analysis, and the rich history of cinema. From concept to completion, you’ll develop original scripts while gaining critical insights into what makes a screenplay truly compelling on screen.

Details:
- Where? Public Media Network – a nonprofit community media organization dedicated to supporting local storytellers and providing access to media production tools and training.
- When? 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month | 6 – 8 PM
Cost:
- $30 per session for general registration.
- $25 per session for residents of our partner communities (City of Kalamazoo, City of Parchment, Comstock Township, Kalamazoo Township, and Oshtemo Township.)
- $20 for members (Community Access Center Members or Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo Members) or TWO Community Access Center Credits from your current account for each session.
