Monday (07/21):
City of Kalamazoo Committee of the Whole (5:00 PM, PMN4): The July 21, 2025 City of Kalamazoo Committee of the Whole meeting has been canceled.
Kalamazoo City Commission (7:00 PM, PMN4): On a slimmer agenda this week, the Kalamazoo City Commission will vote on approvals of contract supplementals and change orders for the Westnedge Avenue Improvements Project, Whites Road Improvement Project, and Carrier & Gable Traffic Signals and Equipment. Also, motion for approval of an Administrative Order of Consent with the EPA for compliance enforcement at the at the Kalamazoo Water Reclamation Plant. Then, there will be a presentation of the City Manager’s Report.
Comstock Township Board (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Comstock Township Board will present First Readings of Ordinance No. 557 and No. 554, as well as continue discussion on Budget, Weather Sirens, and more.
Tuesday (07/22):
Oshtemo Township Zoning Board of Appeals (3:00 PM, PMN3): The July 22, 2025 Oshtemo Township Zoning Board of Appeals meeting has been canceled.
Comstock Township Zoning Board of Appeals (4:00 PM, PMN2): The Comstock Zoning Board begins business on a Dimensional Variance request at 567 Cass Ave.
City of Kalamazoo Natural Features Protection Review Board (4:00 PM, PMN4): When available, the City of Kalamazoo NFPRB Agenda can be found here.
Oshtemo Township Board (5:30 PM, PMN3): The Oshtemo Township Board will hold a work session with updates from their Legal Department and Public Works. Also, a presentation by Jane Ghosh on the Kalamazoo Youth Sports Complex as well as a first reading of Ordinance No. 682 – Fire Code & Local Fire Safety Regulations. Wednesday (07/23):
Comstock Township Downtown Development Authority (5:30 PM, PMN3): The July 23, 2025 Comstock Downtown Development Authority meeting has been canceled.
Thursday (07/24):
Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): Oshtemo’s Planning Commission is set to conduct a public hearing on proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments as well as a review draft one of proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments to the supplemental setback requirements and an unrelated amendment to residential parking.
Comstock Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN2): The Comstock Planning Commission will review a Rezoning Request for 2591 S 33rd Street as well as hold a public hearing for the request. Then, they will hold discussion on the Chicken Ordinance as well as the Accessory Structure Ordinance.
