Monday (01/06):

City of Kalamazoo – Committee of the Whole (5:00 PM, PMN4): The Committee of the Whole will take a work session to hear an update on the City’s Sustainability Work.

City of Kalamazoo – City Commission (7:00 PM, PMN4): Commissioners will meet to address approvals for miscellaneous contracts and easements as well as the FY 2025 Proposed Budget.

Charter Township of Comstock – Township Board (6:00 PM, PMN3): Comstock Township Board will discuss water quality testing, senior millage, recommended appointment for other board positions, a second-reading rezoning request, and more.

Tuesday (01/07):

Kalamazoo County – Board of Commissioners (5:00 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo County Board will meet and hold an Organizational Meeting in preparation for the new year.

Wednesday (01/08):

Charter Township of Comstock – Downtown Development Authority (5:00 PM, PMN3): Downtown Development in Comstock continues to focus on planning Riverfront Redevelopment, Façade Improvement, and upcoming events/amenities like the Merrill Park Winter Ice Rink.

City of Kalamazoo – Historic Preservation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN4): The Historic Preservation Commission reviews a potential work plan to determine if and how the KHPC may contribute to the City of Kalamazoo’s Ransom Street Reconstruction project.

Thursday (01/09):

City of Kalamazoo – Utility Policy Committee (8:30 AM, PMN4): Materials Agenda packets will soon be made available here.

Oshtemo Township – Planning Commission (7:00 PM): Cancelled due to a lack of agenda items

City of Kalamazoo – Zoning Board of Appeals (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Zoning Board is holding public hearings on three zoning variance requests, including 1114 Division Street, 3625 W Michigan, and 1609 Whites Road– where the Kalamazoo Country Club is requesting a variance from the Natural Features Protection Ordinance, Chapter 50, Section 50-6.2 H, to authorize the new pump house for the golf course irrigation system to encroach into a protected slope and protected slope
setbacks.

Charter Township of Comstock – Planning Commission (7:00 PM, PMN2): The Planning Commission of Comstock is scheduled to hold a public hearing for R-1C (single-family detached and secondary residential units) Text Amendments to the Township’s zoning ordinances.

Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education (7:00 PM, PMN5): Materials and Agenda packets will soon be made available on the KPS Website.
