Tuesday (07/01):
Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (3:00 PM, PMN2): The County Road Commission meets Tuesday to vote on Approval of Bid #2025-12 for an Underbody Scraper.
Kalamazoo County Committee of the Whole (4:00 PM, PMN4): At Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole meeting, Public Health Officer James Rutherford and Planning & Development Director Rachael Grover will give a presentation on the feasibility of a Household Hazardous Waste Center in our county. Then, the COTW will hold a discussion on the Housing Millage Scoring Process.
Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners (6:30 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners will address several contract extensions, amendments, and so on with an included potential approval of a Resolution to enter contract negotiations with The City of Kalamazoo to establish the Kalamazoo County Event Center Assessment District Authority. Then, the Board will hope to make some adjustments to the Land Bank Authority (LBA), requesting approval to Suspend Board Bylaws, remove Commissioner Tami Rey from the LBA, appoint of Vice Chair Taylor to the LBA, and then appoint Tami Rey as the Commissioner Liaison to the LBA. Finally, the Board will vote on authorizing County Administration to enter into negotiations with FamilyPromise, Inc. to provide a Residential Shelter and Housing-Focused Case Management at The Landing Place.
