Monday (05/19):
City of Kalamazoo Committee of the Whole (5:00 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo City Commission Committee of the Whole will not hold their meeting publicly, but rather enter a closed session to discuss an attorney-client privileged communication.
Kalamazoo City Commission (7:00 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo City Commission will meet Monday to vote on approvals of three contracts – Rieth-Riley (asphalt paving materials in the amount of $1,494,500), Michigan Pipe & Valve Inc (manhole castings in the amount of $1,655,541.16), and Tyler Technologies (Enterprise Resource Planning System in the amount not to exceed $2,916,686). The Commission will also vote on an adoption of Supplemental Notice of Intent for the issuance of 2025 Capital Improvement Bonds in an amount not to exceed $10,300,000. Comstock Township Board (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Comstock Board will hear a presentation on Kalamazoo County licensing and inspection requirements for food trucks, and then give a first reading to Ordinance 554 (Mobile Vendors). Tuesday (05/20):
Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (3:00 PM, PMN2): The Board of County Road Commissioners meets Tuesday, and is scheduled to request approvals of the Revised Primary Road Capital Improvement Plan, the 2025 Budget Amendment Resolution #1, Village of Augusta Local Municipality Road Contracts, and more.

City of Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission (6:00 PM, PMN4): The Historic Preservation Commission will give reports on financials, O’Connor Fund, community engagement, and discuss a budget amendment.
Thursday (05/22):
Comstock Township Moratorium Committee (3:00 PM, PMN2): The Comstock Moratorium Committee will meet to hear a presentation from the Michigan Public Service Commission, and hold discussion on Brownfield sites as well as the NE Quadrant of the Comstock Master Plan.
Oshtemo Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Oshtemo Planning Commission is scheduled to conduct special exception use review of a home occupation occurring in two accessory buildings where the occupation is providing private golf and softball lessons. Then, the commission will hold public hearings for proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance addressing accessory buildings, accessory dwelling, parking and drive aisles, access management, and private streets.
Comstock Township Planning Commission (6:00 PM, PMN2): The Comstock Township Planning Commission will hear a presentation from the Upjohn Institute on a recent Housing Survey, as well as a site plan review for a parking lot expansion at 5231 E ML (ETNA Supply) and a public hearing regarding an Accessory Dwelling Unit at 2136 Steger Avenue.
Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education (7:00 PM, PMN5): The KPS School Board will meet at 7:00 PM on Thursday May 22nd, a full agenda will be posted here.
