Let’s take a quick look at the upcoming agendas for our local boards’ and commissions’ meetings this week.
Monday (10/27):
Kalamazoo Township Board of Trustees (7:30 PM, PMN4): The Kalamazoo Township Board of Trustees meets Monday to authorize funds and budget adjustments for the demolition of a house at 2603 Douglas Ave, approve a contract with Tri-Merit to oversee geothermal credits, and approve construction pricing for the Eastwood Fire Station project.
Tuesday (10/28):
Oshtemo Township Zoning Board of Appeals (3:00 PM, PMN3): Oshtemo Township’s Zoning Board of Appeals will consider two requests for variances from the minimum frontage requirement at properties at 3815, 3841 North 3rd Street and the 9600 block West L Avenue.
City of Kalamazoo Natural Features Protection Review Board (4:00 PM, PMN4): When available, view the Natural Features Protection Review Board meeting agenda here.
Comstock Township Zoning Board of Appeals (4:00 PM, PMN2): Comstock’s Zoning Board meets to review a dimension variance request on E ML Ave. The applicant is requesting to reduce the minimum lot width from 165 feet to allow the parcel to be split with a width of 129.64 feet.
Oshtemo Township Board of Trustees (5:30 PM, PMN3): Oshtemo’s Township Board will make budget amendments, as well as discuss bids for township projects and a facilitator contract for a Board Retreat. Then, first reading of a Text Amendment to Non-Motorized Facilities/Sidewalks Ordinance. The meeting will enter closed session towards it’s end for written opinion of Counsel.
Thursday (10/30):
Comstock Township Planning Commission Special Meeting (6:00 PM, PMN3): The Planning Commission of Comstock called a special meeting for Thursday, October 30th at at 6:00 PM to hold a public hearing for the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ordinance.
