When Bruce attended PMN’s Narrative Lab workshop to share his thoughts on climate change, he wasn’t sure what to expect. But what he found was a welcoming space where his voice – and his message – could truly be heard.
“I feel that it really does share the message I want to share with others.”
Bruce’s story is part of a Narrative Lab series on climate change, where community members explored how they’ve experienced our world evolving and what we can do about it. This experience became more than just a recording, it became a moment of connection and empowerment for Bruce.
Bruce took part in a Narrative Lab workshop to create his video and shared that the experience allowed the other participants and him “to feel safe, to open up and share, and be inquisitive of others’ experiences.”
Since completing his climate story, Bruce has shared it with friends, family, and beyond – encouraging others to watch not just his video, but the entire collection of climate stories. He believes these stories are sparking something powerful:
“Inspiration comes in many forms. I believe these climate stories are inspiring all kinds of people everywhere to have hope, to feel empowered, to have the courage to share their own experiences through the myriad forms of artistic expression.”
