When it’s time to lock in and get stuff done – chores, emails, etc. – podcasts and audiobooks are of course 21st century go-to’s for most of us. But something that has stood the test of time in our local arts scene is Radio Drama! This audio-only theatrical format stems from before the invention of television, yet still finds its way into my headphones from time to time. All Ears Theatre brings us a recent production: Sometime in June
“Tad Davis was born into a four-generation farm family. Like his father, grand father, and great-grandfather before him, Tad took over the reins of the original homestead, equipped with all the tools for a modern-day farm and dairy operation. But one thing Tad did not have, unlike his father and grandfathers, was a wife to share his hopes and dreams with. Could this be the year that Tad finds time from farming to tie the knot?” This local production is full of comedy, romance, and wholesome antics.
