It’s Throwback Thursday! More importantly, it’s Juneteenth; a day in which we celebrate the end of Slavery in the United States. Black Americans have provided countless quintessential pieces of our country’s history, culture, and identity– often overlooked by mainstream ideals held by many of us. One of these pillars in modern culture was the birth of Techno in Detroit’s Black Nightclubs in the 1980’s.
