Capture the Event: Downtown Summer Sidewalk Sales

The Downtown Summer Sidewalk Sales are a beloved tradition that brings the community together to celebrate local businesses. Vendors will line the streets, offering a wide variety of goods, artistry, and of course, plenty of delicious food to enjoy at sale price! Volunteers will be on hand to document the event with B-Roll footage and record a voiceover to narrate highlights of the event.

This podcast will offer commentary, educate, and introduce guests to a broader audience to tackle difficult conversations. The volunteer will assist the producer in recording their show by operating the cameras and audio equipment in the Vid-Cast Studio. The crew member will also be responsible for arranging the cameras, vid-cast studio lights, and audio equipment for the producer.

Smartphone Storytelling for Non-Profits

Do you work with a nonprofit that has something to say? Gain the skills to use your smartphone to capture the story and impact of your nonprofit’s work in the community!  Most of us carry an entire production studio in our pockets and don’t even realize it.

We’ve developed a program that will help you join our network of community reporters and start sharing the stories of your community.

The class includes four, one-hour sessions at $150 per registrant.

August 6 – 15  |  Tuesday & Thursday Afternoons from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
