All Ears Theatre’s radio drama “The Adventures of Johnny Forest & Sue McGee: The Dragonfly” is now available to watch.
The story returns to 1950s America, where a much-anticipated biplane fly-in at the county fair attracts a criminal element. Their presence puts The Dragonfly, a rare Sopwith Pup, in peril. Teen detectives Johnny Forest and Sue McGee are on the case. Johnny is well liked and curious, and Sue is a natural leader and problem solver. With Johnny’s best friend Edward, the trio senses that something is afoot and sets out to do something about it.
The program was written by Deborah Hanley and directed by Jen Hebben. The vocal cast includes Krista Roberson, Tim Hill, Jake Burrell, Mary Kay Allbee, David Issacson, Wes Garman, and Grey Grooters. Michael Waldschlager II and Gary Browne provided the sound effects.
