In an all new Kalamazoo & You, city Public Services Director – James Baker – explains the process of how Kalamazoo deals with waste water. The City of Kalamazoo Water Reclamation Plant (KWRP) provides wastewater treatment to more than 150,000 residents in 18 local jurisdictions. The KWRP uses an innovative treatment system to treat a variety of pollutants in concentrations that most other plants cannot.
