From crafting captivating animations to learning the art of green screen effects, and storytelling like a pro, our programs offer a diverse range of creative projects to ignite your child’s passion for media production.
Our Youth Media Summer Camp programs are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Public Media Network.

| At Comics & Visual FX Camp, kids will bring their narratives to life by acting out scenes in front of a green screen. Through hands-on activities and guidance from experienced instructors, students will learn how to craft a series of images that weave together to tell a compelling story, just like their favorite comic books! |

| Join us at Next Gen News Camp and embark on a journey to master the art of storytelling through journalism fundamentals! Whether you’re intrigued by the tale of your school’s top Smash Bros player, the knitting prowess of your friends’ group, or the secret behind your family’s favorite recipe, this camp is tailored for you. Discover the power of interviewing, the magic of storytelling, and the essentials of camera work as you bring your stories to life. |
Cost per camp: $249 full registration.
Pay-what-you-can optional levels for residents of the City of Kalamazoo, City of Galesburg, City of Parchment, Comstock Township, Kalamazoo Township, and Oshtemo Township ($199, $149, $125)
$50 for extended day to 5:00 pm for pick-up.

- Participants bring their own lunch and snacks.
- No refunds for cancellations. Up to 30 days prior to the start of a camp, a transfer to another camp may be requested depending on space available.
