Lights, Camera, Summer! Youth Media Camps Are Back at PMN

2 Min Read

Looking for a summer camp that’s fun and gives your kids creative real-world skills?

Public Media Network’s Youth Media Camps are back — and they’re the perfect way to spark your child’s creativity, build confidence, and open the door to the exciting world of content creation.

From animation to storytelling, kids in grades 4–8 will learn how to create their own video projects from start to finish.

Whether your child dreams of being on camera, directing the action, or creating a story that moves people, our camps give them the tools and the guidance to bring those ideas to life.

Each camp is led by media mentors who make learning hands-on, engaging, and incredibly fun. Campers work together to create real media content while developing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills along the way. And the best part? They’ll get to showcase their finished videos and share them with family and friends.

What to Expect:

A creative, supportive environment that welcomes beginners and budding media makers alike

  • Access to professional gear and tools — no experience required!
  • Daily sessions filled with filming, editing, and storytelling
  • A final project campers can be proud of

Camps are held at Public Media Network in downtown Kalamazoo. Spaces are limited and tend to fill up quickly, so don’t wait!
