Community Homeworks’ Critical Repair Team addresses urgent health and safety issues for income-qualified homeowners across Kalamazoo County. Repairs range from furnaces and plumbing to accessibility upgrades like wheelchair ramps and walk-in showers. The program grew out of founders Shaun and Emily Wright’s efforts helping a family with a heating emergency 15 years ago, and now serves families with young children, seniors, and residents with special needs.
